Looking for a quick and tasty way to get your fish fix? Joanne Figueiredo’s delicious recipe creation has got you covered. Honey garlic sauce isn’t just for meatballs, after all! It’s so simple, you'll think you missed a step—but, trust me, you didn’t. Toss in your favorite veggies (or whatever’s in the fridge), and you've got a delicious dinner in minutes.
Toppings (optional): diced green onion, Everything Bagel Whole Food Topper
- In Wok or Sauté Pan over medium-high heat, combine seasoning, water, and honey. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring constantly. Reduce heat; simmer until sauce has thickened.
- In Multipurpose Steamer, add salmon. Spoon 1⁄4 cup sauce over salmon, spreading it evenly over the top. Top with Multipurpose Tray; arrange veggies on top. Spoon another 1⁄4 cup sauce over the veggies. Refrigerate any leftover sauce for use another day.
- Cover; microwave on high 8–9 min. Remove tray with veggies, then check the thickest part of the salmon for doneness. Cook salmon for longer, if needed, until cooked through.
- Divide salmon and veggies between four plates. Add toppings, if desired.
Microwave cook time will vary based on the thickness of the salmon fillets and the veggies you choose; start checking around the 6-min mark if your fish is on the thinner side.
Serve with 1 cup rice.
